A Little About My World!
Howdy! My name is Dr. Rachel Benson and I am a sports chiropractor born and raised in Austin, Texas! I am a graduate of Texas A&M class of 2011! WHOOP! I went to chiropractic school in southern California and I am infatuated with the ocean! If I end up obsessing over the beach, just give me a minute and I’ll find my way back to my southern reality soon! A few of my favorite things include my great dane mix named Lady, candy (the non chocolate kinds), playing lacrosse and laughing. I have always wanted to open a bakery! (but have learned that I am not good enough at business wherewithals to make that work)! I am over critical of myself, and also a HUGE over thinker. I hate coffee, chocolate, potatoes and bacon. (And I promise that is not a sin to like that many cult favorites, I’ve checked).
A Little About the Blog
I have decided to start a blog in order to share the favorites of my life, from working out to making homemade cookies and I want to share it with you! The title of the blog comes from my inspiration for making the blog which is due to the fact that it seems the world today is chalk-full of wreckage. Wrecked relationships, wrecked financial situations, wrecked expectations from leadership and the wrecked health of loved ones…just to name a few. The “wreckage” upon which we live in and around becomes overbearing, because we can easily become fixated on worrying about solutions, obsessing over complications and coping with the fallout.
This blog is my way of sharing some of what I find beautiful in the world. I pray that we can all live in a world that we focus on the good things instead of the bad, see change as positive steps forward and value each other as family. Instead of so quickly pointing out our differences and judging people for them! I hope that you find these posts intriguing and that they help you find some beauty in your own life.
